DRCS Board

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to attend one meeting per month (2nd Wednesday)
• Be a resident of Durham Region
• We ask for a two-year commitment
• Not a member or a volunteer of Police Services 
• Obtain a Criminal Record Check (paid by DRCS)

•  Provide a covering letter including your name, address, phone, email and current occupation
• Resume
• Provide two references Name/Phone
• In your cover letter, please let us know why you are interested in joining the board, your understanding of the Board business and highlight any skills that you feel will add value to the board overall

We are a Not-For-Profit Organization and the costs to cover administration and to pay out successful tip to a tipster comes from Board Fundraising efforts.  Besides treating this as a business we are in the fundraising, revenue generating activities to keep the board whole.

We are looking for members that can assist with generating revenue either through personal connections or contributing to fundraising ideas.  

We have a couple of annual events that generates funds but, we are always looking for future innovative ideas.  We need you to help! 

 Date:  Every second Wednesday

Time:  6:30 - 7:30pm (most cases)

Location:  Durham Regional Headquarters - Rossland Road
